I’m proud to share that I’ve officially recertified as a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®). A designation I’ve held since 2019. This credential means a lot to me, not just because of the letters after my name, but because of what they represent: continued growth, professional standards, and a deep commitment to serving with compassion and integrity.
What Is a Certified Professional Organizer®?
The CPO® designation is granted through the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers® (BCPO®) to experienced organizers who meet rigorous standards and agree to uphold a strict code of ethics. It's not a one-time certification. Every three years, CPOs must demonstrate continued education and professional development to remain certified.
There are a few paths to recertification, and I chose the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) option. You can learn more about that here.

What I Completed for My 2025 Recertification
To maintain my certification through July 1, 2028, I completed 36.25 CEUs through a combination of NAPO-approved classes, conferences, leadership roles, and professional development. Here’s a glimpse into what that looked like:
📚 Continuing Education Highlights
- NAPO2025 Annual Summit – 14.75 CEUs
- NAPO Colorado Board of Directors, Marketing Director – 12 CEUs (over three terms)
- Industry Professionalism with Lauren Mang – 1.5 CEUs
- Organizing the Digital Home with AI (Trustworthy) – 1 CEU

Why It Matters
Recertification isn’t just about collecting credits; it’s about staying sharp, being accountable, and continually improving how we serve. For me, that means staying ahead of trends, learning new skills, and showing up better for the individuals and families I support, especially those navigating life transitions like downsizing, decluttering, or organizing inherited belongings.
Whether I’m working with a client one-on-one, leading a workshop, or creating resources for caregivers and the Sandwich Generation, I want to bring the best tools, strategies, and heart to the table.
Looking Ahead
I’m honored to carry the CPO® designation through 2028 and look forward to what’s next. Thank you for trusting me, learning alongside me, and cheering me on.
